Ellzey UMC is continuing this year with the mission to provide the needed student supplies for the 25/26 school year at Cedar Key School. For the 24/25 school year, supplies were sent to each elementary classroom for each student the week prior to school starting. This allowed teachers to get things set up for the students on their first day. Emails are sent out during the year asking for any needs that teachers find they have and items are dropped off. Especially when beginning back after Christmas Break. This year we also did our best to ensure that the Middle and High school classes had paper, pencils, folders, tissues, etc, as requested. The average cost to do this for the school year per student is roughly 15.00 per student. The following items are purchased bulk at the best prices found throughout the year: Looseleaf paper, spiral notebooks, crayons, scissors, colored pencils, hi-lighters, colored/black expo markers for students and teachers, pocket folders, three ring binders, earbuds, large erasers, pencil top erasers, pencil boxes, pencil pouches, glue sticks, tissues, sanitizer, markers, wipes, card stock, paper plates, feminine products, tape, staples, post-it notes, play doh, bulk pencils, clip boards, copy paper, rulers, and composition books.If you would like to send a donation to support this coming years school supply mission it may be mailed to:Ellzey UMC, PO BOX 25, Otter Creek Florida 32683, or given to me and I will turn it in to the church, or sent through PayPal.
